DISCOVERED at Marble Bar is thrilled to announce that Nothin But Jam took home the coveted $10,000 residency at last night’s live Grand Finale.
Nothin But Jam, who describe their unique style as smooth rock with latin soul, will now be playing at the iconic Sydney venue every Wednesday night throughout April and May.
The top five acts selected by the public on Marble Bar’s Facebook, battled it out at last night’s finale in front of a selection of VIP industry, media and Sydney-siders for the once in a lifetime opportunity to win the $10,000 residency.

Winner of the X-Factor 2011 Reece Mastin said, “Each band brought it to the stage tonight, and everyone gave an incredible performance but it was Nothin But Jam that ultimately set them apart from their competitors.”
General Manager of Hilton Sydney Ronald van Weezel said, “Marble Bar has been a highly acclaimed live music venue for many years and its continued support of the music community has firmly cemented it as the favourite live music venue for Sydney-siders.”
Judges for DISCOVERED this year included celebrity singer/songwriter and winner of the X-Factor 2011 Reece Mastin, the highly coveted editor of Rolling Stone Australia –Rod Yates, renowned A&R Manager at EMI Music, Mark Holland, and The Music’s very own digital editor and contributor to Australia’s leading online music news source(The Daily SPA) – Sally Hurley. Marble Bar was also thrilled to see the return of multi award-winning broadcaster and presenter, Jason ‘Jabba’ Davis as MC for the night.
