In light of the terrible events that unfolded yesterday that have caused so much fear, heartbreak and the loss of life, we just want to take a moment to send our deepest condolences to the victims and their families.
As Sydney-siders we are so lucky to be able to call Sydney our home. Sydney is our sanctuary that sparkles in the sunlight, where community spirit soars at times when we need to stand shoulder to shoulder. The #Illridewithyou social media campaign only further reinforces that any attempts to rock the spirt we are renowned for, only makes us stronger.
We have never been prouder of our community as we shine light on the darkest of times.
We have chosen not to report on the events on yesterday; however we want our readers to know that there’s not a moment that goes by that our thoughts are not with the innocent hostages and the brave two people that lost their lives yesterday.
