Soulstice Laneway Festival is debuting this Queen’s Birthday Long Weekend (Sunday 13th & Monday 14th June). From 2pm – 10pm over two days, 1 Temperance Lane in Sydney’s CBD will be transformed into an intimate laneway party, featuring DJs, full bar service, pop-up Patron filling station, and Latin inspired bites from renowned Mexican restaurant ESTEBAN.
This exclusive over 18’s fiesta begins with entry through a custom wooden door on George Street, leading into a secret laneway wonderland. Revellers can dance the day away to a curated lineup of some of Sydney’s best soul, funk, and disco talent, entertaining the crowds from above, on an elevated hanging garden stage. Headline acts include Sydney born DJ Mo’Funk who has spent the last decade holding down residencies at some of Ibiza’s most recognised venues such as Pacha, Cafe Del Mar, Cafe Mambo and Space. DJ collective Rotary Disco will be closing out the celebrations on Monday night, bringing the finest quality underground sounds to the masses.
A laneway Patron filling station will be serving a selection of cocktails, and within ESTEBAN’s subterranean tequila and mezcal basement bar punters can buy Patron flights. The festival food menu includes Spinach & Queso Quesadillas, Mexican Pork Sausage in a Bun, and Loaded Mexican Fries.
Soulstice Laneway Festival is in collaboration with Destination NSW and their Sydney Solstice campaign, which brings together Sydney’s best venues, chefs, artists, and musicians to celebrate everything we love about Sydney – food, drink, art, entertainment and culture.
Ticket price $40 per day – covers all day entry fee. Food & beverage will be payable on consumption.
