I’ve always been a cleanse, tone and moisturise kinda girl, and extremely lucky with my skin. But now I’ve reached the better side of 30 (shhhh, don’t tell anyone) I’ve naturally started to place more precedence in my daily beauty regime.
Which is why I’m delighted to have been introduced to Liquid Gold, by Alpha-H. Generally, I’m a bit sceptical about so-called miracle lotions and potions, but the Australian ‘cult’ beauty formula is far from a newbie on the scene.
The lotion, which was devised by Alpha-H Director Michelle Doherty some 15 years ago, uses natural ingredients to give the effect of an ‘overnight facial’; firming and revitalising aging, sun-damaged or acne-scarred skin.

Still 100% family and Australian owned, it was a pleasure to see that Michelle still has so much passion for Liquid Gold, and how she worked tirelessly to develop a formula that truly bridges the gap between over-the-counter potions and cosmetic solutions.
Having featured in Harpers Bazaar Top Beauty 100, Liquid Gold is suitable for any skin type and truly has impressive results. I’ve been using the product for just over 3 weeks now, and can genuinely see the results. My face is not only smoother and softer to the touch, I have even started braving the day without foundation (eek) and people have commented on how healthy my skin looks. True story.
