Sydney VIPs and industry insiders celebrated the start of Summer with Glue Store at the official reveal of the new “Summer Holidays” campaign featuring Sydney Swans player Kieren Jack, Home and Away Actor Andrew Morely, model/ blogger Mimi Elashiry, MTV VJ Krit and The Faders DJ duo Milly Gattegno and Suhanna Lye.

The six campaign stars attended as guests of honour at the harbourside warehouse location – mingling with a crowd of over 300 celebrities, fashion media, models, musicians, athletes, industry and social identities. VIP guests of Glue Store included actress Demi Harman, TV presenter Luke Jacobz and Scott Tweedie, The PotbelleezDave Goode and Jonny Sonic accompanied by model girlfriend Lauren Dally, media personality James Kerley, former Miss World Australia Erin Holland, The Voice finalist Brittany Cairns, as well as personalities Simon Hancock and Josh Flinn.

Hosted by Next Athleisure owner Hilton Seskin with Managing Director Ant Elliot and CEO of Next Athleisure, Glue Store and Trend Imports Marc Miller the party was also attended by a who’s who from leading fashion lifestyle brands including Nobody Denim, Fred Perry, DEUS, Levi’s, All About Eve, The Academy Brand, Reebok, Ziggy Denim, Bless’ed Are The Meek, Lee, Vanishing Elephant, and Nudie Jeans.

Glue Store’s Summer campaign was channelled on the pier with an installation of live models posed in a “Summer Holiday” scene complete with a Kombi Van, low slung deck chairs and inflatable flamingo.

On arrival each guest received a “lucky door prize” ticket giving him or her an exclusive gift from featured Glue Store brands that had set up installations throughout the venue. Motorcycle brand DEUS offered men’s tees, while The Academy Brand gifted guys shirts and shorts, iconic denim label Levi’s customised classic trucker jackets on-site while All About Eve decked girls out in this summer’s hottest trend, the “Twosie.”

The venue was transformed into an endless summer, casual street festival vibe – from party tunes spun by campaign stars The Faders DJs to food stations dotted around the venue offering street-inspired fare. Cooked “live” at the station by chefs, guests feasted upon American style hot dogs, BBQ sliders with gourmet trimmings, an Asian Vegetarian “Salad” bar, and pizza in 4 flavours including bocconcini with basil, a classic cheddar, salami and tomato combination, fig with prosciutto and gorgonzola, as well as olive and feta with fresh rocket.
