Bondi’s bustling Hall Street is home to local favourite restaurant and bar Bondi Hardware. Named after its original occupant of 30 years, a cluttered Hardware store, the restaurant pays homage to its heritage, with the interior painstakingly transformed utilising exposed brickwork, beams, high gabled ceilings and recycled timber. Head chef Elliot Anders trained at Bistro Moncur under James Privett, who is now Applejack Hospitality’s Group Executive Chef, and then worked with Matt Kemp at Balzac before a stint at Fratelli Fresh. Bondi’s craftiest restaurant and bar has a welcoming ambiance, mouth-watering food and delicious beverages which combine to create a uniquely Bondi dining experience. A good workman never blames their tools, and at Bondi Hardware they’re the best in the business!
