Get ready, Sydney! Melbourne’s beloved CDMX is popping up in your city for one week only, from June 11 to June 16, teaming up with Taqiza Bondi for an epic collaboration.
Known as the ultimate taqueria for authentic Mexican street food, CDMX (short for Ciudad de Mexico or Mexico City) has wowed fans with its journey from a humble taco cart to a bustling cantina. Their star attraction? The irresistible birria taco.
Sydneysiders, prepare your taste buds for CDMX’s award-winning birria tacos: grilled corn tortillas packed with birria-braised beef brisket, salsa, coriander, onion, melted cheese, and served with a flavorful birria consommé. But that’s not all – you’ll also get to enjoy other crowd favorites like Al Pastor, Pescado, and Chicharron Norteno.
Owner Beatrice Nacor, along with Head Chef Marc Cruz and chefs Tashi Wangyel and Ritchie Abellanosa, can’t wait to bring the CDMX experience to Sydney. Beatrice is especially excited to see some familiar faces from Sydney who have already fallen in love with CDMX at their Melbourne Central and Brunswick East locations.
Melbourne’s award-winning taqueria CDMX is kicking off a one-week Sydney takeover at Taqiza Bondi, with 100 FREE Al Pastor Tacos up for grabs Tuesday June 11 – that’s Taco Tuesday done right!
Don’t miss this delicious pop-up event – it’s taco time, Sydney!
