Our lunch adventure at Bottega Coco kicked off with a tantalizing array of appetizers that set the stage for what was to come. The homemade fresh focaccia was a delightfully airy and fragrant start to our meal, perfectly complemented by the creamy burrata served with juicy peaches and heirloom tomatoes. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, showcasing the restaurant’s commitment to using the freshest seasonal ingredients.

For our main course, we indulged in the cavatelli con ragu di funghi – a comforting pasta dish that transported us straight to the Italian countryside. The hearty ragu, made with a medley of earthy mushrooms, enveloped the tender cavatelli in a rich and flavorful sauce that left us craving more with every forkful.

But the real star of the show was the pizza topped with fresh tuna carpaccio, San Marzano tomato sauce, buffalo mozzarella cream, and eggplant chips. The combination of flavors and textures was nothing short of extraordinary, with each ingredient complementing the next to create a symphony of taste that danced across our palates.

Of course, no Italian meal is complete without a glass of wine, and Bottega Coco’s extensive wine list did not disappoint. We selected two large glasses of Italian Pinot Noir from their curated collection, perfectly pairing it with our meal to enhance the flavors and elevate the dining experience.

Despite being tempted by the decadent desserts on offer, including a  delicious looking Torta Di Mele and TIRAMISÚ, we were too full to partake. However, we couldn’t resist taking some patisserie goodies home to enjoy later, including the Nutcase- a Velvet filled mousse bar with milk chocolate and nuts and the famed Magic Mushroom- Black forest cake with  dark chocolate mousse, cherry compote and chantilly cream.
