Jess Zuker has recently announced her recent and upcoming ventures in the film and television industry. Currently, Jess is engaged in a Feature Film project that’s confidential for now being filmed in Los Angeles, California – details of which will be disclosed at a later date.Jess has recently wrapped filming for the feature film “Pure Scum,” an Australian production directed and written by the talented Gideon Aroni. In this film, Jess stars as The Interviewer, a role that highlights her dynamic acting skills. “Pure Scum” is a thriller/drama that shines a light on the toxic private school boys’ culture in Melbourne, as well as the drugs and violent nightlife in Melbourne’s CBD. Q: You’ve recently starred in the Australian feature film “Pure Scum.” Can you tell us about your role and your experience on set?
A: Absolutely! In “Pure Scum,” I play The Interviewer. It was an amazing experience to work on this film, especially with such a talented director and writer, Gideon Aroni. The cast and crew were phenomenal and so much fun to work with. It was a truly collaborative effort, and I’m grateful to have been a part of it. The film is a thriller/drama that shines a light on the toxic private school boys’ culture in Melbourne, as well as the drugs and nightlife in Melbourne’s CBD.
Everyone brought their A-game, and we all supported each other throughout the shoot. It was a really positive and enriching environment.
A: “FYI” was a great project to be involved in. Working alongside Ratidzo Mambo was an absolute pleasure. The pilot allowed me to explore a different type of character and storytelling, and I’m excited about the potential for this show to develop further.Q: Your career has shown you taking on lead and critical roles in various projects. How do you choose your roles, and what drives your performances?A: I look for roles that challenge me and offer something unique. I’m driven by stories that resonate with me and characters that have depth. It’s important to me to be part of projects that are meaningful and have a positive impact on the audience.
Q: How has your work been received by the media and your peers?
A: I’ve been fortunate to receive positive feedback from both the media and my peers. My performances have been recognized in various newspapers, trade journals, and testimonials, which is incredibly gratifying and humbling. I’m grateful. It reinforces that the hard work and dedication I put into my craft are paying off.
Q: What can your fans expect from you in the near future?
A: Besides the project in Los Angeles, there are a few other things in the pipeline that I’m really excited about. I can’t wait to share more details soon. Keep an eye out for updates!
A: Yes, Brandon and I have been together for 18 months now. He’s known for his acting role in “90210,” and he’s producing movies primarily and acts occasionally. He’s been incredibly supportive of my career, I keep telling him to act more! It’s wonderful to have such a supportive partner, who understands the craft, the day to day artists journey, I’m grateful.Q: Any final words for your supporters?
A: I just want to thank everyone for their continued support. It means the world to me and motivates me to follow my heart
