On Tuesday 2nd December 2014, a selection of star studded guests attended the Sail with the Stars Gala Dinner at Doltone House, in support of the LOYAL Foundation.
On the eve of the iconic Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race in which Perpetual LOYAL will return in 2014 for the 5th year, the sailors of the Super Maxi, along with over 450 guestsattended the Sail with the Stars Gala dinner to raise money for the LOYAL Foundation and celebrate the achievements of Perpetual LOYAL.
Guests were treated to a stunning three-course menu, whilst being entertained by the always cheeky MC, Karl Stefanovic, as well as a stellar performance from Jon Steven’s Band. Special guest speaker, John Bertrand AM, reminisced about being Australia’s only America’s Cup winner in 1983 and then it was announced that Australian Boxer, Danny Green would be returning as one of this year’s celebrity crew members. This definitely left the room buzzing!
Over $500K was raised for the LOYAL Foundation and proceeds will go towards purchasing vital children’s medical equipment for hospitals and health services throughout
