Australian vocalist Luke Antony will be entertaining the crowds this year as the headline act at the 2016 Munich Pride festival (CSD). The massive event is one of the biggest on the international LGBTIQ calendar and attracts more than 200,000 people from around the world every year.

Luke Antony is currently one of the Australian music industry’s brightest young artists. Raised in a music-loving family in Townsville, the talented 25-year-old started singing in church at a young age.

His new single Separate Ways is also the theme song for this year’s festival.

“I wanted to do something which had a bit of a funk-house flavour to it, but was also a great pop song as well,” he explains. “The song is about finding love and chasing your dreams in the big city inspired by my own experiences. I fell in love back home in the Queensland Tropics. But I ultimately made the decision to let that go in order to chase my musical dreams. The two don’t always come together. I had to sacrifice love for career. You only get one chance.”

50 per cent of net profits from the worldwide sales of Separate Ways will be going to support the CSD Muenchen.
