A festival creeper, All The Sex I’ve Ever Had has tiptoed up the popularity charts and is a keen favourite among most Festival-goers, so much so an extra performance has been added. Starting tomorrow night, there are nightly shows on 21st, 22nd and 24th January, matinees at 2pm on Saturday 23rd with the extra matinee added Friday 22nd January.

All The Sex I’ve Ever Had shares with you real life stories of first loves, rocky relationships, affairs de coeur and all those other experiences, romantic or not-so romantic. It’s your chance to learn from a different generation’s misadventures and glorious adventures from the bedroom and the heart. Older and wiser, these elders bring a hilarious, heart-warming and intimate peek at their confessions.

All The Sex I’ve Had, has been coordinated by Canadian performance company, Mammalian Diving Reflex. They’re noted for their commitment to “investigating the social sphere… always on the lookout for contradictions to whip into aesthetically scintillating experiences”. They’ve asked six over 65 years old Sydneysiders to share their experiences in a spectacle that breaks down the barriers of discussing sex with seniors. Working together they’ve constructed a performance adapted from the 2012 original especially for Sydney audiences. The original dazzled audiences in Toronto, Prague, Singapore, Glasgow and now Sydney has been given the chance to share in the giggles and tears during this up close and personal setting.

Darren O’Donnell, Artistic Director, anticipates that this remarkable endeavour will open up discussions about gender, celebrate openness and shed some light on a history of taboo. Take this opportunity to share in the wisdom from this generation too often rendered invisible, and enjoy a few laughs and a few tears in this thoroughly entertaining festival favourite.
