ivy Pool Club, the rooftop oasis atop the lifestyle precinct, has unveiled a whole new look this month – transforming from LA Glitz to the Italian Riviera, alongside a sophisticated new menu by Uccello’s David Lovett and pizza maestro Vincenzo Biondini. La Dolce Pool Club, a five-day Italian extravaganza from 19-23 October will launch the new look Pool Club in style.
Hosted in partnership with Havana Club, Avión Especial and Absolut Elyx, La Dolce Pool Club will feature with a long-table feast, an opulent poolside party and enviable long lunches:
– MONDAY 19: DATE NIGHT WITH SINATRA AT POOL CLUB
Guests can kick off La Dolce Pool Club festival week with an intimate date night by the pool, enjoying classic pizza and pastas from $15, a list of classic Italian cocktails and live music from the romantic, bygone era of the Rat Pack. Entry is free and walk-ins are welcome. 5:00pm-late.
– TUESDAY 20: MUMBO ITALIANO AT POOL CLUB
Pool Club joins forces with Uccello, the neighbouring one-hat restaurant overlooking the dreamy Italian oasis, for a sumptuous long table feast curated by David Lovett andVincenzo Biondini. Guests can start their evening with classic Havana cocktails, before enjoying a shared banquet of authentic Italian fare and fine wine. With live music and entertainment, this is a feast for the senses not to be missed:
Mixed antipasti of cured meats, grissini, olives, mozzarella con pesto

Pasta al orecchiette, San Marzano tomatoes, basil, mozzarella
Porchetta, rocket salad, roast potatoes

$65pp includes cocktail on arrival, a shared five course dinner, wine, beer and entertainment. Reservations are available for three sittings: 6.30pm, 7pm and 7.30pm.
– WEDNESDAY 21: LA DOLCE VITA ITALIAN SHOWCASE Italophiles can transport themselves to the piazzas and market places of Tuscany as Pool Club serves up the best of everything that this little Italy has to offer. Stalls will showcase classic fare, including an Italian BBQ, cheese and charcuterie, pizza, and gelato – alongside live music, roving entertainment and unmissable cocktails from Avión Espresso, Absolut Elyx and Havana Club. – THURSDAY 22 & FRIDAY 23: LONG LUNCHES AT POOL CLUB & APERITVO HOUR
Mr. Wong’s incomparable Dan Hong (Thursday 22nd) and Paddington’s hotly-tipped Danielle Alvarez and Ben Greeno (Friday 23rd) get behind the grills at Pool Club, as they serve up a very special poolside BBQ feast. 12-3pm.
For those feeling thirsty after a long day in the office, city-siders can treat themselves to a pre-dinner drink, while enjoying complimentary antipasti during Aperitivo Hour (3-6pm on Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd October). Buon appetito!
