Turn your world upside–down at Australia’s first ever inverted house photo experience. Located in The Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park and now extending their stay until the end of January 2023 after popular demand before moving on to an all-newlocation, soon to be announced. House Down Under is incredibly fun for everyone and is the perfect place to take the kids during the school holidays and grab a fun and quirky Christmas holiday snap as The House Down Under has been adorned with festive decorations complete with an upside down Christmas tree.
The unique and exciting attraction looks like a house has been dropped from the sky and landed on its roof, creating a museum of illusion to take mind bending photos in. The topsy-turvy house features eight interactive upside down ‘areas’ created by the House Down Under team and a team of expert designers from the UK and now featuring a touch of Christmas in each space. Pose up a storm in the upside-down attic, kids play area and monkey bars, bathroom with toilet, study/office area, traditional house entry, lounge room, bedroom and kitchen!
“What a dream it is to be able to introduce the inverted house photo experience to Australia. House Down Under is a unique twist of perception where everyone can experience walking on the ceiling,” said Osvaldas Anusaitis, General Manager.
Let your imagination run wild as you play with the illusion and snap some mind-boggling snaps. Play chess with a friend while you hang on the ceiling, look like you are doing a handstand whilst balancing on a chair or defy gravity and make the bed upside down.
“You will be amazed when you walk into the house, with everything inside literally completely upside down, from the couch to the coffee table, to the bed, to the toilet,” said Rytis Gruodis, Owner and Director.
There is no time limit on how long visitors can spend inside the house, so visitors can take their time perfecting their poses and taking as many photos as they like- Make sure you clear your camera roll before you come! House Down Under staff are available for visitors to offer advice on photo set up and how to take some of the most unbelievable photos, that will leave family and friends confused and jealous.
