SYDNEY’S ICONIC REAL INSURANCE SYDNEY HARBOUR 10&5K WILL BE TAKING US
BACK TO THE 80S & 90’s FOR THEIR 2024 EVENT

Whether you’re aiming to set a new personal record on the 10k route or prefer to soak in the entertainment during the 5K, every step brings us closer to our goal of a world without cancer. Join us in supporting ACRF and contribute to Australia’s top cancer research by participating in the Real Insurance Sydney Harbour 10&5k on Sunday, July 28, 2024.

Known for its scenic and speedy course along Sydney Harbour, this year’s event promises an elevated experience. Get ready to immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere with an exciting 80s & 90s theme, complete with music, entertainment, and plenty of fun for all participants.

Whether you’re a seasoned racer chasing a personal best or simply looking for a memorable day out, the Real Insurance Sydney Harbour 10&5k offers something for everyone. Don’t miss out on the chance to be part of this unforgettable event, which also attracts elite athletes vying for the top spot, including Olympians like Eloise Wellings and Ryan Gregson, Genevieve Gregson and Ben St Lawrence who have all participated previously.

 

A snapshot of activities on the day
• Pre-race warm-up: The event will commence with a pre-race retro aerobics led by
instructors in full 80s workout attire. The music will be bangers.
• Dress Up: Participants are encouraged to dress in their best 80s and 90s gear. Think
bright activewear, short shorts, leg warmers and sweatbands. Runners will also
receive a retro-inspired headband as part of their entry fee.
• Music zones: Music zones along the course will play hits from the 80s and 90s, with
the post-event village being turned into a giant party.
• Pop culture pit stops: Themed zones will be set up along the course, each
representing a famous 80s or 90s TV show or video game – from a Baywatch to PacMan.
