Amongst all the hype of MBFWA this week, we have some more exciting fashion news to share. On Wednesday, the finalists for the Australian Fashion Film Awards (AFFA) were announced by Marion Hume at an exclusive private screening event at QT Sydney.

Press and industry heavyweights were given the first chance to see the submissions from some of the world’s leading talent and brands – including Baz Luhrmann, Gisele Bundchen, CHANEL, Miranda Kerr, Gemma Ward, The Woolmark Company and more.

Anastasia Fai, Founder of AFFA, said that it was incredible to see the leaders of the Fashion Industry acknowledge the contribution Fashion Film is making.

“We’ve been overwhelmed with both the number of award submissions we received and the level of talent exhibited. It’s clear that the Fashion Film genre in Australia is on the rise and already a key contributor to the Fashion Industry.”
