Fine poultry and liquor experts Whirly Bird in collaboration with WB Productions, a multi award-winning production company specialising in glamour and burlesque, will be officially unveiling their new night of tease and titillation on Saturday April 14th called The Birdcage Sydney.

The Birdcage Sydney is set to be a glamorous evening of vintage inspired entertainment enjoyed over a three course meal and one too many glasses of champagne. In essence, The Birdcage Sydney is a glamorous and sexy dinner and a show for grown ups.

The sultry spectacular showcases an array of sexy and exciting live performances by exceptional worldly artists. The striking showgirls shall present a variety of acts with the inclusion of a few house favourites; the Famous Feather Fan Dance, Champagne Glass Act, Lyra and Pole Artistry. The unique form of vintage burlesque highlights the glamour and glitz of the beloved era that was the 1920’s. Think feathers flouncing, sequins sparkling and drinks flowing.

In true Birdcage style, the beverage menu will focus on all things supple and dry, including varietals of both Champagne, cocktails and gin. On arrival guests are greeted with a glass of Mumm Champagne’s latest release ‘Grand Cordon’. Guests will then be seated for the start of the dinner and show. The entertainment will be presented in between each of the courses to ensure guests don’t miss any of the razzle dazzle while they feast on the culinary delights. The 3-course banquet starts with a sharing plate of salumi, pickled vegetables, parfait and mozzarella & saffron risotto balls. Moving on, the mains are sure to please with slow roast duck leg or apple & fennel stuffed pork. Then last but certainly not least, the delicious desserts on offer include a Cointreau-filed soft centred chocolate fondant and a rum & banana semifreddo for dessert. More of a savoury person? Rest assured, a crowd-pleasing cheese board shall also be present amongst the array of sweets.

The sensational show spectacular including Champagne on arrival and 3 courses in a share-style banquet will be just $89 per person.
