Delight the senses with a multi-sensory experience showcasing newly released wines from The Penfolds Collection 2023 – including the Australian, French and Californian stables – and a taste of Penfolds flagship Grange (2019). Transcend by Penfolds’ will offer Sydney consumers a reimagined wine tasting opportunity, with the highly immersive experience set to ignite the senses, combining a unique soundscape, storytelling, visuals and lighting, to bring to life the Collection in a new and innovative way.

The 90-minute experience will provide guests with a deeper understanding of a curated selection of wines, with a guided tasting, narrated by Penfolds Group Winemaker, Steph Dutton – against a backdrop of imagery to evoke a visual interpretation of each wine. The experience will crescendo with a newly created ‘Grange Palate Cleaser’, specifically designed to refresh and reinvigorate the palate ahead of tasting Grange. A surprising expression of Thienot x Penfolds Champagne Brut Rosé NV, the palate cleanser was designed by Magill Estate Restaurant Executive Chef Scott Huggins, in collaboration with Penfolds Chief Wine Maker Peter Gago. This striking interlude will leave the palate refreshed and ready to enjoy the full spectrum of complex aromatics and flavours that Grange is famous for.
