I love finding healthy hidden gems in our beautiful city, and luckily Sydney is a mecca when it comes to healthy eats!

For all of you health nuts out there, here are some fun places for you to try.

Mr Muscle

Enjoy!

O Superfood

O Superfood is one of the most unique smoothie bars I have come across, and they spare no expense to ensure every smoothie is the best you have ever tasted!

O Superfood boasts over 20 Superfood ingredients sourced both locally and globally.

The vibrant and friendly café is passionate about bringing you nutrient rich smoothies, juices and salads that are dairy free, vegan and gluten free.

My favourite is the Mr Muscle smoothie with blueberries, mango, coconut flesh, coconut water, chia, camu camu, cinnamon and pea protein.

Dandylion

Dandylion recently opened on Bondi Road and it offers an incredible vegetarian dining experience.

The owners have sought vegetarian inspiration from around the world and from their findings; they have created some incredible Mediterranean style vegetarian dishes out of it. They also have a nice wine menu.

Try the kumera chips, the veggie curry or the Cajun fajitas. They are very impressive.

The Depot

Combining healthy food, beach views and a great atmosphere, The Depot is hands down one of the nicest cafes to spend time at in Bondi.

Their coffee is great and their brunch and lunch menu is hard to beat. Occasionally they open nights and when they do their food would rival some of the top restaurants in the city.

Try the Peas Please with a poached egg or the quinoa barramundi salad.

Thr1ve

Thr1ve is a one- stop shop for a great healthy eating experience. Their menu consists of high quality produce and protein that is locally and ethically sourced. All food is also gluten free with no added sugar.

Thr1ve is located in the city at the MLC Centre. Their paleo pancakes and Forage Granola are really good.

Proteini

Proteini is a great little find that is situated on Crown Street in Darlinghurst.

Their food is gluten, sugar, dairy and wheat free while being really tasty and ‘gut friendly’. It caters to all types of people from paleos to vegans and coeliacs and best of all, all food is made in house and ingredients are locally sourced.

Try their Green Breakfast Bowl or Homemade Falafel Salad.

Located on Bondi Junction’s most popular health street, Oxford St, the vibrant café is passionate about bringing you nutrient rich smoothies, juices and salads that are packed with the best superfoods sourced locally and from around the globe.

All smoothies are dairy free, vegan and gluten free; and the salads are fresh and dressed to order.
